The pore is the fundamental unit around which my works are articulated. I understand it not as a form, but as a condition of relation, whose accumulation and organization give rise to permeable structures that I call membranes - active spaces of negotiation between opposites. For me, this pore - membrane relationship functions as a tool for observing and understanding the recurring structures that traverse reality regardless of scale.

 

I work primarily with paper, wood, marble, and other simple, primordial materials marked by their own histories of transformation. Through repetitive manual gestures of sanding, poration, and reduction to essentials, I do not seek to impose forms upon matter, but to continue processes already at work in nature. My interest lies not in form as a result, but in the principle that makes form possible.

 

In this sense, the works propose a reflection on the idea of autonomy and its limits. They suggest that existence is constituted through relations, transfers, and continuous adjustments, and that what we perceive as distinct entities is the outcome of ongoing processes of negotiation.

Porul este unitatea fundamentală în jurul căreia se articulează lucrările mele. Îl înțeleg nu ca formă, ci ca o condiție a relației, a cărui acumulare și organizare produce structuri permeabile pe care le numesc membrane – spații active de negociere între opozabile. Aceasta relatie por-membrana functioneaza pentru mine ca un instrument de observare și înțelegere a structurilor recurente ce traversează realitatea indiferent de scară

 

Lucrez preponderent cu hârtie, lemn, marmură, materiale simple, primordiale, marcate de propriile istorii de transformare. Prin gesturi manuale repetitive de șlefuire, porare și esențializare, nu urmăresc să impun forme materiei, ci să continui procese deja existente în natură. Interesul meu nu se află în forma ca rezultat, ci in principiul care o face posibila.

 

În acest sens, lucrările propun o reflecție asupra ideii de autonomie și a limitelor ei. Ele sugerează că existența se constituie prin relații, transferuri și ajustări continue, iar ceea ce percepem ca entități distincte este rezultatul unor procese permanente de negociere.
